English Teams for World Senior Championships, Denmark 4^th to 12^th March 2006

The Senior Teams that will represent England at the Senior World Curling Championships have been decided. In both competitions, only one entry was received by the ECA, so no Seniors Championships will be required to determine our representatives. The Men’s team is the same team that came fourth in last years Senior World Curling Championships. The Ladies team is missing our skip from the last three Senior World Curling Championships, Joan Reed, due to her successes in winning both the Ladies English Curling Championships and the Mixed English Curling Championships, which see her competing for England at both the European Curling Championships and the European Mixed Curling Championships. There is only so much that a player can do! Joan’s team from the last few years is joined by Hilary Bowyer (mother of our Men’s team’s skip, Bruce).
