Thriving In Kent
The “two month old” curling rink built near Tunbridge Wells in Kent is attracting the attention that was hoped. The
facility is attracting over 50 beginners every week at the moment and the
Tuesday (London Curling Clubs) and Wednesday (Tonbridge
Curling Club) curling evenings are filling up. In addition, on Tuesday evenings,
Stephen Hinds, our National Development Director, is running a
junior session from 5pm
until 7pm. With a Super League on alternate Saturdays and other
events on the other weekends, the first curling rink in England is already attracting over 150 curlers per week.
