Head Coach
Fixed Term - June 2005 to April 2006
Honorarium (£6,000)
Applications are invited for the post
of Head Coach with the British Wheelchair Curling Association. The remit of the
Head Coach is to deliver the coaching programme for the British Wheelchair
Curling team up to and including the Turin 2006 Winter Paralympic Games. The
post holder will ensure that the team is given the best possible opportunity to
perform its roles effectively and to their full potential. This post holder is
responsible to the British Wheelchair Curling Association. During the
Paralympic Games the post holder is also responsible to the British Paralympic
Association.
The successful candidate will have
experience of coaching curling teams at an international level. An understanding
of disability sport issues would be desirable.
